MHS Band Fruit Sale

The annual Macomb High School Band fruit sale began Monday, November 2, and will run until November 16, 2009. Band members will be selling U.S. Florida citrus: navel oranges, ruby red grapefruit and tangelos. Also being sold are a variety of apples: Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Braeburn and Fuji. Customers may also choose D'Anjou pears and pineapples. This premium fruit comes in small, large, and combination boxes and makes a great gift for the holiday season. The fruit is provided by Blue Freedom Farm Markets, Inc. from Sterling, Illinois. All proceeds go to support the award-winning MHS Bomber Band program and its activities.

Distribution date for the fruit is 7:00 am–12:00 pm, Saturday, December 12, 2009, in the Macomb High School Commons. For more information call Gayle Zahnle at 309-333-6421 or via e-mail.
