2009 March-a-thon Thank-You

The Macomb Band Boosters would like to thank all who supported the 2009 March-a-thon with their contributions, participation, and assistance. We raised over $8,700 toward the purchase of much-needed marching uniforms. This is a project that we will continue to pursue over the course of the next two years. A big, special thank-you to our celebrity marchers—Macomb Schools Superintendent Alene Reuschel, Judge Pat Walton, Macomb Mayor Mick Wisslead, and Miss Macomb Jennifer Witkowski—for helping us honor military veterans as well as current and former first responders from the following organizations:
- American Legion Post 6
- Illinois State Police, District 14
- Macomb Fire Department
- Macomb Police Department
- McDonough County Sheriff Department
- McDonough District Hospital Emergency Room
- Salvation Army
- VFW Post 1921
- Western Illinois University Veterans
