The Macomb High School Marching Bomber Band earned its fourth consecutive Governor's Trophy at the 2007 Illini Marching Band Festival at the University of Illinois on Saturday (October 13).
In addition to awarding Macomb the Governors' Trophy for classes B and C/D (the small school division), adjudicators placed the Marching Bombers first in the parade competition in class B and named the band the small division parade champions. Likewise, the Marching Bombers earned first in the field show competition in class B and earned the overall field show champion designation in the small school division. The marching Bombers also earned various caption awards (details to follow the posting of official results).
