Formalwear

Required Formalwear

Band members must obtain the following formalwear through Band Boosters to ensure uniformity.

girls
- black dress (2011: $58), hemmed to the ankle bone (same as madrigal dresses used by MHS choirs)
boys
- tuxedo (includes all components below; 2011: $74)
  - tuxedo jacket (2011: $40)
  - tuxedo pants (2011: $19)
  - tuxedo shirt (2011: $11)
  - bow tie (2011: $1)
  - cummerbund (2011: $3)

Formalwear Measuring

Band Boosters will take measurements for concert attire orders on Monday, November 7. Please complete any concert attire exchanges before that date.

Boosters will need to know on the day that we take measurements which, if any, elements of the required concert attire (see below) each band member needs to order so that we can place our orders with our vendors in order to receive them and allow sufficient time for families to arrange for necessary alterations before the annual holiday concert on Tuesday, December 13.

To that end, Mr. Wetmore will send home a formalwear verification form during the week of October 31. Please complete the form as soon as possible and return it to school by Friday, November 4.

Formalwear Exchange

Note: Not intended for orders of new formalwear. Band Boosters will take orders for new formalwear on the date that we take measurements (scheduled for Monday, November 7).

Please determine as far in advance of the day on which we will take measurements as possible whether or not your band member(s) will need to order any or all elements of the required concert attire from the bands' vendors.

Please contact the individuals listed for each item below. Macomb Band Boosters provides the following information as a service to its website users but does not assume responsibility for its accuracy or for any resulting communications, negotiations, or transactions between the parties involved.

Please provide separate information about each available item (for example, please provide separate information about the jacket and about the pants of a tuxedo set).

As always, Band Boosters also welcomes donations of concert attire. Simply send your donation to the MHS band room or contact the Macomb School Bands webmaster.
